      I have written six books on conifer cultivars and the people who worked with them. The first two books are single editions while the third book was done in three volumes. Each of the three volumes may be used as a stand-alone book since they are topic oriented and not an encyclopedic listing of conifers. The most recent conifer book is an "Artsy Fartsy" book that looks as conifers as a form of garden art. It insludes details about three of the major Bonsai museums in the United States.

    I have also written a book about European beeches and English oaks. It is shown after the conifer books.

    I have written a book about growing up in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, the only town I know with a creek flowing beneath many of its houses. It is also available below. I have also written a book about my 39 years in the classroom. In it I treat education as a wheel that supports society. The wheel itself has five spokes and I cover each of these spokes in detail: students, parents, administration, teachers, and last (also least) politicians.
